Kazakhstan Housing Company Raises 50 Billion Tenge via Five-Year Bonds

On July 16, Kazakhstan Housing Company conducted a specialized bond placement on the KASE, selling the KZIKb45 series with a total issue size of 50 billion tenge. The bonds carry a maturity of five years, running from July 16, 2026 to July 16, 2031, and offer a fixed annual coupon of 16.50% calculated on a 30/360 basis, with a face value of 1,000 tenge per bond. The funds raised are traditionally channelled into state-backed housing programs across Kazakhstan. For fixed-income investors, the issue is notable for offering a yield above the prevailing market average relative to the National Bank's current benchmark rate.
