Four Regional Bond Issues Listed on KASE at 14.76% Annual Coupon
Kazakhstan's stock exchange admitted four bond issues from regional executive authorities to its government securities sector starting July 27, 2026, with West Kazakhstan Oblast among the issuers. All issues carry a fixed annual coupon of 14.76%, paid on a 30/360 basis. Maturities vary: one issue runs for 7 years with a volume of 4.88 billion tenge, while another has a 10-year term totalling 1.63 billion tenge. For conservative investors, these instruments offer fixed-income exposure with a regional government guarantee. At the same time, the high coupon rate reflects the current level of inflation and borrowing costs in Kazakhstan.
