Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Appoints New Management Board Chairman

The Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZh), the national railway company, voted on July 20, 2026 to appoint E.M. Otynshiev as the new Chairman of the Management Board. Separately, E.M. Amandykov was removed from the board, leaving it with eight members in total. KTZh is one of Kazakhstan's largest state-owned enterprises and a key operator in the country's transport infrastructure, playing a central role in international transit corridors. The company's bonds are listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), making leadership transitions relevant to fixed-income investors who monitor credit risk and strategic direction. Bondholders and equity observers should watch for any strategic announcements from the incoming leadership.
