Kazakhstan's Finance Ministry to auction KZT 780 bln in government bonds in August

Kazakhstan's Ministry of Finance has unveiled its plan for government bond auctions in August 2026, with a total offering of KZT 780 billion. The securities will carry maturities ranging from 6 to 12 years, in line with the ministry's strategy of extending the average duration of its debt. Trading sessions are scheduled for every Monday in August: the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. For private investors and fund managers, these auctions represent an opportunity to invest in reliable, fixed-income tenge-denominated instruments. Auction rates traditionally serve as a benchmark for the broader Kazakhstani debt capital market.
