KASE lists two Islamic sukuk bond issues worth $10 million and KZT 5 billion
The Kazakhstan Stock Exchange has added two 'al-Wakala' sukuk issues by Asia Minerals Resource SPC Limited, a special-purpose company based in Astana, to its official securities list. The first issue is dollar-denominated at $10 million with an 11% annual periodic payment rate, running from November 2025 to November 2028. The second issue, worth KZT 5 billion, was placed in March 2026 and matures in March 2029. The listing expands the range of instruments available to investors interested in Islamic finance, which excludes conventional interest and is structured around profit-sharing principles. For Kazakhstan's market, this marks another step in developing the Islamic securities segment, which is drawing growing interest from both local and foreign investors.
