KASE to Suspend Trading in Occidental Petroleum Shares and Solana ETF from August 10

KASE announced a suspension of repo transactions with a central counterparty involving two instruments in the KASE Global sector — the Solana ETF and common shares of US oil company Occidental Petroleum. The restriction takes effect on August 10 and applies to trades with settlement dates from August 19 onward, with trading set to resume on August 21. Such technical pauses are a standard exchange procedure tied to corporate actions or settlement cycles of the underlying assets. For investors trading foreign securities through KASE Global, it's important to factor in these dates when planning repo transactions. Direct buying and selling of the shares and ETF continues as normal.
