KASE Trading Volume Jumps Nearly 50% in First Seven Months of 2026

The Kazakhstan Stock Exchange reported that total trading volume for the first seven months of 2026 reached 309.3 trillion tenge, equivalent to nearly $640 billion. This represents a 47.2% increase year-on-year, with the dollar-denominated growth even more pronounced at 56.6%. Compared to the preceding seven-month period (June-December 2025), trading volume rose by 20.9%. This dynamic signals a notable revival in Kazakhstan's stock market, with growing interest from both local and institutional investors across all exchange segments—from equities and bonds to currency trading and repo operations. For private investors, increased liquidity means more comfortable conditions for entering and exiting positions.
