Eurasian Development Bank to Place Bonds on KASE
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange announced that on August 12 it will hold special trading to place short-term discount bonds issued by the Eurasian Development Bank, worth 4 billion Russian rubles with a 30-day maturity. A day earlier, on August 11, the bonds were added to the international financial organizations securities sector of KASE's official list. The EDB is a regional development institution that regularly raises financing on the exchanges of its member countries, including Kazakhstan. Placements like this expand the range of reliable debt instruments available to Kazakh investors seeking alternatives to bank deposits. Further details on the start of trading will be announced by the exchange later.
