Chinese chipmaker overtakes Micron and Kioxia in NAND memory shipments

Research firm Counterpoint Research reported that a Chinese semiconductor manufacturer has for the first time surpassed US-based Micron and Japan's Kioxia in shipments of NAND memory chips — a type of chip used for data storage in servers, smartphones, and AI devices.
