Baiterek Holding Places 60.5 Billion Tenge Bonds at 15.9% Yield
The Kazakhstan Stock Exchange announced that trading in bonds issued by Baiterek National Investment Holding JSC will open on the main trading platform starting August 18, 2026. The issue size is a substantial 60.5 billion tenge, with each bond carrying a face value of 1,000 tenge. The bonds have a five-year term, running from July 31, 2026 to July 31, 2031, with a semi-annual coupon paying 15.90% per annum. Baiterek is one of Kazakhstan's largest development institutions, and an issue of this scale could appeal to conservative investors seeking yields above bank deposit rates while taking on relatively low credit risk from a quasi-sovereign issuer.
