Fincraft Group Commercial Bonds Listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange

The board of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange has decided to add bonds issued by Almaty-based Fincraft Group LLP to the exchange's official list under the commercial bonds category. The $10 million issue has a 360-day maturity and pays a semi-annual coupon of 11% per year. The decision took effect on August 20, with the exchange to announce the start of trading separately. For local investors, such placements offer an alternative to bank deposits with relatively attractive dollar-denominated yields. However, commercial bonds typically carry higher credit risk compared to securities in higher listing categories, so investors should carefully review the issuer's financial standing before buying.
