KASE to add Kazakhstan Sustainability Fund bonds to its collateral list

KASE's Clearing Center has decided to add Kazakhstan Sustainability Fund bonds (KFUSb118) to its T+ list and T+ collateral list starting September 2. This means the bonds will become eligible for trades involving a central counterparty under partial collateralization terms, and can also be pledged as collateral for such transactions. The exchange regularly makes these kinds of decisions to expand the range of liquid instruments available to professional market participants and institutional investors managing cash flows and margin positions. Adding the sustainability fund's bonds to the collateral list increases their appeal to holders by broadening how the securities can be used beyond simple ownership. For retail investors trading through brokers on KASE, such technical exchange decisions matter indirectly - they affect overall liquidity and the infrastructure of the local debt market.
