Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance to auction 3-year MEOKAM government bonds on July 7
The Kazakhstan Stock Exchange announced that on July 7, 2026, it will hold a specialized placement auction for 3-year medium-term government treasury bonds (MEOKAM) issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with settlement on July 9. MEOKAM bonds have traditionally attracted strong demand from conservative investors, institutional players, pension funds, insurance companies, and banks. Their yields are typically benchmarked against the National Bank of Kazakhstan's base rate and reflect market expectations for inflation. Alongside this offering, longer-dated MEUKAM bonds are also being prepared for placement on KASE, giving investors a choice across different maturities. Retail investors can participate through brokerage accounts registered on the exchange.
